CSB Color Palette and Named colors · Compare Text and Background Colors
Match the colors offered on the CSB / TRELLIX palette
There are 256 colors on the CuteSITE Builder - Trellix palette shown to the right (16 rows of 16 colors). When you choose a color from the palette, for font, background, etc, these are the colors offered. I have identified the hex code number for the RGB values shown on the CSB palette for use in your inserted HTML and javascript codes.
WEBSAFE COLORS NOTE: Using only 6 hex combinations
(00, 33, 66, 99, CC, and FF) over RED, BLUE, and GREEN hues, gives us a total of 216 colors, the same ones used in Windows and MAC operating platforms color palettes. On old browsers, these were the only colors that would render exactly as expected. All the colors on this chart are on the web safe palette EXCEPT for the index numbers in PINK. Today, browsers support far more that just the old web safe palette.

You can download a PALETTE that uses all 256 colors in the same order shown above for use in your Paint Shop Pro (PSP) or other image program! The index number that CSB uses is the same number in these palettes. Now your brushes can be set to the exact colors used in CSB.
Useful for creating logos, for bullets, text images for headers in your website colors!
Download the file, put inside the Palette folder. For PSP, you will find it in your folder named: MY PSP (or earlier versions: MY PSP8, MY PSP7). To use, open the photo program and load the palette. (Check help file for instructions how load/import a color palette).
RIGHT CLICK, THEN CHOOSE SAVE TARGET AS to download the file you can use.

What about the NAMED colors???
There are 140 named colors. Several of the HTML and CSS sites highly recommend moving away from named colors. I STRONGLY recommend you use the hex code for the color, available in the chart below.
Though names are useful, they are not recommended as browsers do not render them the same consistently like the hex codes. Also, some word codes produce the same color (examples: aqua and cyan, magenta and fuschia)
