Selection Guides
Ever need to guide your visitors to the perfect place on your site?
Why not build a series of question links that when the proper answer is clicked it takes you to the next logical step in the process?
The building process is easy once you map it out. And you will actually use several pages in your TLX design file.
But if you use an IFRAME to display the questionaire, the visitor stays on the same page until the end of the question process!
The iframe below displays an actual selection guide I built for a website and I have permission to pull it into this website (using their bandwidth each time it is tested) as a demo. I used rollover style buttons but you could use text links or linked images just as easily.
So how was it built?
1st page with a few questions.
Answers lead to other pages.
Those answers lead to other pages.
In this one, the final question opens a NEW web page with the result. But you could have your final result in the iframe if you want, if it will fit!
The result could be a web page, pdf file, music file, a form, a picture.
This is serious business (as shown) or could be a silly game that leads your visitors around in circles (not that I would EVER do that ) or a maze that the first person to get through to the form and send it in gets a prize! Lots of uses!
